Miley Cyrus has a serious, high-fashion side. Who knew?

There's not a wagging tongue or a twerking booty to be seen in the new images for her Marc Jacobs campaign - and the results are stunning.

When the 21-year-old singer was announced as the face of the brand back in January, we weren't that surprised. But we are a bit surprised to see the finished product.

She strikes a somber pose in the pictures, crouching on a dark beach, lying in the sand and gazing off into the distance.

It's become clear over the past year that Miley loves to show off her body, posting nearly nude selfies to Instagram and wearing skin-baring costumes for her Bangerz tour. So, it's a refreshing change to see her actually wearing clothes. (As in, the kind that cover all of her bits.)

We have to say, Miley looks gorgeous in the muted designs from Marc Jacobs spring collection. And that beach breeze is doing wonders for her choppy blonde hair.

All around, this campaign is a major win for Ms. Cyrus. We'll take more of this Miley, please.
