Mere weeks before her due date, Mariah Carey has stripped off to reveal her baby bump in a nude portrait for US magazine, Life & Style.
The 41-year-old singer is expecting twins, a boy and a girl, her first children with husband Nick Cannon.
Speaking exclusively to Life & Style, the expectant mum gushed: ‘I was feeling very vulnerable about taking pictures at all right now, but then I didn’t want to miss this opportunity to document this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
'My ultimate goal was to share this incredibly personal moment with my true fans.'
Father-to-be Nick Cannon was certainly in awe, confessing: ‘I thought I couldn’t love Mariah more. But I have a whole new appreciation and admiration for her.’
The babies themselves were certainly excited, reportedly kicking their way through the entire shoot. The night before, the star had been admitted to hospital with contractions but as of yet, the patient parents are still waiting for their new arrivals.
Mariah is one in a long-line of famous celebrity bumps to get exposed on magazine covers. Demi Moore famously posed nude for Vanity Fair in 1991, Christina Aguilera stripped off for US Marie Claire for the January 2008 issue, and Claudia Schiffer got naked for German Vogue in 2010.
