Lindsay Lohan completes her stint in rehab
Lindsay Lohan has completed her stint at the Cirque Lodge rehab centre in Utah, and left with her father on Friday.
Speaking to People magazine, Lohan’s mother Dina confirmed her daughter was out and commented; ‘I’m proud of her. She’s moving ahead with her life. Things were getting out of control. She took action. She took responsibility. She really needed to heal.’
This is the second session the 21-year old actress has completed at a rehabilitation facility this year. In July the actress completed six weeks at the Promises centre, leaving with an alcohol-monitoring bracelet round her ankle. She relapsed within the month, and checked herself into the Utah facility after being arrested for drink driving on 21 July, shortly after leaving Promises.
Lohan issued a statement after the arrest, confirming her addictions: ‘It is clear to me that my life has become completely unmanageable because I am addicted to alcohol and drugs.’
She will now return to work, and is rumoured to be starting filming on her latest movie from next week.
