Kristen Stewart has revealed she is 'so excited' about the Snow White sequel, which will not be directed by Rupert Sanders

Kristen Stewart has confirmed she will return for a sequel to her 2012 Snow White and the Huntsman movie, revealing she's 'so excited,' but sworn to secrecy about the news.

Although it has been rumoured the Twilight actress would be back on board for the role, the actress had yet to speak out on the subject… until this week.

She told movie site Indiewire: 'It's gonna be f**king amazing. No, I'm so excited about it, it's crazy.

'The other day I said that there was a strong possibility that we're going to make a sequel, and that's very true, but everyone was like, "Whoa, stop talking about it."'

She added: 'So no, I'm totally not allowed to talk about it.'

Right then.

Although Kristen Stewart has confirmed will be back to reprise her role, bosses have revealed her ex-fling, director Rupert Sanders, will not be back for the second movie.

A source said earlier this year: 'The script has already been written and production will begin late next year.

'However, Rupert Sanders definitely won't be a part of the project. Rupert didn't want to be a part of it to begin with because he is desperately still trying to save his marriage. The search is still on for a new director.'

Twi-hards the world over were send into turmoil earlier this year, after news - and pictures - of Kristen's affair with Rupert Sanders emerged.

Kristen's relationship with Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson seemed to hang in the balance, as the actor went to ground, leaving Kristen to make a very public - and unusual - apology to her boyfriend, confirming for the first time that they had been in a relationship.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's relationship appears to have weathered the storm, with the pair having been spotted out and about together a number of times since, as well as completing the Twilight Breaking Dawn publicity tour in November.

Earlier this month, Kristen even apologised to fans for the incident, explaining on a chat show: 'It’s not a terrible thing if you’re either loved or hated. But honestly, I don’t care ’cause it doesn’t keep me from doing my sh*t.'

'And I apologise to everyone for making them so angry. It was not my intention.'
