Winona Ryder says she feels sorry for the two young stars because of the media intrusion they suffer

Jennifer Lawrence and Kristen Stewart may appear to have it all but along with their incredible careers, millions in the bank and envy-enducing wardrobes they also have to face a constant prying into their personal lives by the press and paparazzi.

And it’s this side effect to being two of the brightest stars in Hollywood that makes fellow actress, Winona Ryder feel sorry for them both. Speaking to Interview magazine Winona said: ‘I don’t know how they [Jennifer Lawrence and Kristen Stewart] do it, though, in just trying to maintain some degree of a personal life and privacy.

‘My heart goes out to them, but then at the same time I know that they don’t know anything different.’

Just like Kristen and Jennifer, Winona also suffered endless scrutiny about her private life particularly during her relationship with Johnny Depp in the early 90s and subsequently after she was arrested in 2001 for shoplifting.

After fighting through her own more turbulent times Winona Ryder has sympathy for her predecessors as well as a lot of respect for their talents. She went on to praise both Oscar-winner Jennifer Lawrence and Kristen Stewart saying: ‘I’ve only seen part of Twilight, but I’ve seen their other work and they’re both super talented.I have to say, I really wonder if I would become an actress if I was their age now.’

But we’re very glad she did!
