EXCLUSIVE! Keira Knightley tells Marie Claire that she ‘won’t be defined by objects’
Keira Knightley may be a regular feature on Hollywood rich lists but she isn’t concerned with spending her millions on expensive jewellery or designer wares. In the May issue of Marie Claire the star tells us: ‘I don’t have anything valuable.’
The A-lister made the claim while eyeing up a collection of precious gems at New York’s museum of Art and Design, examining one diamond-encrusted piece Keira Knightley asked us: ‘Could you imagine dancing in that? If you lost it? I won’t be defined by objects.’
Valuable must mean an entirely different thing to Keira then, she’s rumoured to have recently moved into a several-million-pound property in East London with her finance, James Righton although she says while she ‘loves it’, it’s not ‘thee house.’
‘I’m still a traveler,’ Keira reveals, exposing her love of a more laid-back lifestyle. She also hints at a more spiritual side to herself, adding: ‘Concentrating too much on the big picture means you forget what’s happening in the present. You can lose a lifetime thinking about tomorrow.’
Well said Ms Knightley!
