Don't Keira Knightley and James Righton make the cutest couple? Looking every inch the loved-up pair, the newly-engaged lovebirds could hardly hide their smiles as they took a stroll through Manhattan yesterday.

Choosing a pretty floral dress and tiny Chanel handbag for her low-key New York date, Keira wrapped her arms around her British beau during their outing.

Strolling through the city's trendy Soho district the usually private couple, who got engaged back in May, only had eyes for each other, but couldn't resist flashing a quick grin at photographers.

Earlier this month, Keira revealed she's been scaling down her film roles, to allow herself to live a more normal life.

‘It comes to a point where you think: “What kind of film can I make that will allow me to live a proper life?” and those tent-pole movies make it difficult,’ she told Empire magazine.

'I do actually love blockbusters but that decision has a lot that comes with it that I'm not prepared to go with,' she added.

The starlet, who is currently filming new flick Can A Song Save Your Life on location in New York, will next be seen in big-budget period flick, Anna Karenina.
