Katie Holmes to get primary custody of Suri Cruise?

Katie Holmes' lawyer has slammed reports she is to get sole custody of Suri Cruise

The lawyer for Katie Holmes has been putting a few matters straight about her extremely speedy divorce settlement with Tom Cruise.

Holmes’ attorney, Jonathan Wolfe, has denied reports that the former Dawson’s Creek star has received primary physical custody of the couple’s daughter Suri Cruise.

Reports have stated that while Holmes is to have main custody of the six-year-old, Cruise has been granted ‘generous visitations’ as part of the deal struck yesterday.

‘There are numerous inaccuracies in the reports regarding the purported contents of the agreement reached between the parties,’ Wolfe said in a statement to E! News.

‘The agreement is confidential and its terms will not be disclosed.’

In their statement about the divorce settlement, Holmes and Cruise said: ‘We are committed to working together as parents to accomplish what is in our daughter Suri’s best interests.

‘We want to keep matters affecting our family private and express our respect for each other’s commitment to each of our respective beliefs and support each other’s roles as parents.’

Katie Holmes‘ lawyer Jonathan Wolfe added: ‘This case has been settled and the agreement has been signed.

‘We are thrilled for Katie and her family and are excited to watch as she embarks on the next chapter of her life.’

‘We thank Tom’s counsel for their professionalism and diligence that helped bring about this speedy resolution’.
