Michael Jackson's mother has said she 'just needed a break'

After nine days missing Katherine Jackson has finally broken her silence, insisting that she wasn't kidnapped by her family and that she just needed a 'short vacation.'

Michael Jackson's mother, Katherine, was stripped of her rights as the guardian of his three children - Paris, Prince and Blanket - following reports that she was being held against her will at a spa in Arizona.

THE JACKSON FEUD CONTINUES: WHAT IS GOING ON?

However the 82-year-old matriarch has now hit out at reports that she was kidnapped by Randy, Jermaine and Janet Jackson, telling America's ABC radio station: 'There are rumors going around about me that I have been kidnapped.

'I am here today to let everybody know that I am good and fine... My children would never do anything to me like that,' she said.

Jackson added that she was 'devestated' about losing custody of her grandchildren and the court order to remove her as guardian was based on 'a bunch of lies.'

MICHAEL JACKSON A RETROSPECTIVE

'Their ruling in court today was about the guardianship, and I think it was based on a bunch of lies. But I have a good idea who's doing that... who's behind it,' she added.

In an emergency court ruling, Michael's nephew TJ Jackson was yesterday awarded temporary guardianship of the children.

The saga continues.
