Kate Moss enjoys four-day, medieval-themed birthday party

If there’s one thing you can say about Kate Moss, it’s that the girl knows how to throw a party.

The supermodel pulled out all the stops for a four-day birthday bender this weekend, to celebrate turning 35 on Friday.

Celebrations kicked off on Thursday night with a nine-hour drinking session at one of her favourite hang-outs, China Tang restaurant at the Dorchester Hotel in Mayfair.

She was accompanied by her mum and her rocker boyfriend, Jamie Hince, 40, who ate dim sum and sipped on Cristal Champagne all night, at £600 a pop.

The party celebrations continued into the weekend with a medieval-themed bash at the Croydon-born star’s £8 million north London home.

Guests included the usual set - Stella McCartney, Davinia Taylor, Sadie Frost, Meg Mathews - and the revellers danced the night away to Queen, The Beach Boys and Meatloaf, while they were also heard treating Kate to a rendition of Stevie Wonder’s Happy Birthday.

The sheer size of the party was evident from all the deliveries that arrived in the run-up to the bash.

A pig on a spit, ready for roasting, was seen being hauled into the house, medieval-style grandiose furniture was a feature, and a deer and moose’s head also joined the festivities.

But although Kate’s guests enjoyed the lavish do, some of the neighbours weren’t quite so impressed, and called the police to complain.

But, to be honest, what else did they expect?
