Model mum Kate Moss has opened up about her daughter Lila Grace in a rare interview, revealing the feisty nine-year-old doesn’t like her wearing make-up.

According to Miss Moss, Lila likes her to remove every scrap at the end of every day, and hasn’t shown any interest in dabbling in beauty products herself.

'I always take my make-up off, because otherwise my daughter will come in and say "Mummy, tut-tut". She doesn't like it,’ Kate told the Sunday Times Style magazine.

'She likes the fresh-faced, natural mummy, when I've got my hair in a bun and no make-up on.'

Instead of lipstick, it seems lucky Lila prefers to have her nails painted instead.

‘She's got lipsticks but she doesn't do colour,’ Kate added. ‘She's quite prudish - she'll only do a little bit of gloss or something - but she is into nail art.

'She went to Wah Nails for a friend's birthday and came back with green leopardskin. I'm taking her there for her birthday.'

Speaking of her own beauty routine, as she launches a new line with make-up giant Rimmel, Kate says she can ‘still scrub up’ when the occasion calls.

'Yeah, I can get away with it. I can still scrub up,’ she said. 'And that's why girls are lucky. I mean, my boyfriend…my husband! He wakes up and is like "Oh God" [but] I can do a bit of this, and I'm back in the room.'
