The model bride-to-be enjoyed a fun-packed weekend with pals ahead of her wedding to Jamie Hince
It was tipped to be a hen do to end all hen do’s and Kate Moss’s three-day, pre-wedding extravaganza certainly didn’t disappoint. The model and 30 of her closest friends partied the night away at the Isle of Wight festival over the weekend, ahead of her July wedding to Kills rocker Jamie Hince.
ULTIMATE FESTIVAL FASHIONISTAS
Kate and her star-studded group of pals – which included Jade Jagger, Samantha Morton, Sadie Frost, Meg Matthews, Katie England and Allison Mossheart - joined 70,000 revellers at the famous festival, the first of the year so far.
And the model was determined to celebrate her last few weeks of freedom in style.
Miss Moss donned rock chic leather trousers and her trademark black fringed jacket for her big entrance, before a string of golf buggies – complete with KM number plates - arrived to whisk the happy hen and her group of giggling pals back stage.
Rumour has it the model’s special celebration was themed after channel four show My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding, with friends asked to come armed with games, forfeits, and, of course, aspirins.
It’s thought the raucous party made their way through a whopping 120 bottles of Prince William and Harry’s favourite exclusive Mahiki rum, as well as sipping on champagne, vodka and gin in their VIP party area.
‘There are about 30 of them on the hen do, plus the hangers-on, but, even so, they have got through an alarming amount of alcohol,’ one source revealed to the Daily Mail over the weekend.
‘Apparently they have been necking the rum straight.’
In fact Kate and her pals enjoyed the special rum so much they had another 30 crates shipped in, to see them through the weekend.
‘The club has its own helicopter, so it was pretty easy to get another 30 crates down,’ the insider added.
But despite her party-loving reputation, it seems things eventually all got too much for Miss Moss.
Half way through her boozy hen weekend, the starlet and her pals were spied checking into the Isle of Wight’s secluded Priory Bay hotel, where they rounded off their trip with a swanky private meal. Phew!
