The Palace has confirmed Kate Middleton will be taking a break from public engagements

Kate Middleton is taking a month off from official engagements, St James’s Palace has confirmed.

The pregnant Duchess of Cambridge doesn’t plan to make any public appearances although she expects to continue with her commitments ‘in the near future.’

KATE MIDDLETON’S BABY IS DUE IN JULY

After being discharged from hospital in December following a acute attack of morning sickness the Duchess of Cambridge made an appearance at the BBC Sports Personality of the Year awards as well as attending the grand unveiling of her official portrait in London last week.

Now, though, after the crucial 12-week scan, where doctors have told Kate Middleton that the baby is healthy, she’ll spend her time resting at home and out of the public eye.

Yesterday the Palace also announced that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s baby will be born in July, they refused to give the exact due date, but speculation suggests it’s more likely to be towards the middle of the month.
