Kate Middleton has earned praise from fashion editors the world over for her pitch perfect styling, glowing skin and impeccably glossy locks. But being a princess doesn't come cheap.

According to new reports, the Duchess of Cambridge spends a whopping £102, 379 a year maintaining her signature style, with hair treatments, facials, personal trainers, and, of course, clothes all contrubuting to the total.

Australian Vogue have totted up Kate Middleton's total spend in the past 12 months, estimating it at the eye watering £102, 379 figure.

It's thought Kate spends over £8,000 a year keeping her hair in check, stopping off at Richard Ward's swanky Sloane Square salon for blow-dries and Keratin Infusion extra moisture treatments, plus organic colour treatments every six weeks.

Furthermore, Kate reportedly splashes out £7,984 on spray tans, adding extra to her total with the services of an exclusive personal trainer who accompanies her on runs through the royal parks.

And we haven't even started on the dresses.

Earlier this year, it was revealed Prince Charles foots the bill for Kate Middleton's dazzling designer wardrobe, splashing out more than £35,000-a-year on clothes.

Prince Charles has agreed to pay for the Duchess of Cambridge's 'work-related' wardrobe, and anything she wears to official engagements or while out and about with the Royal Family.

It's thought Kate's father-in-law has offered to take the cost of the Duchess's designer dresses out of his official Household budget.

Which is quite generous, since it's estimated Kate's shopping bill totals up to more than £35,000 in 12 months alone.

According to insiders, Kate has gone to great lengths to keep her clothing budget down, recycling dresses where she can, and shopping on the high street.

But as she returns all free samples sent for her to wear, and insists on paying full price for all her clothes, Kate's still totted up a substantial shopping bill.

In an effort to keep costs down, Kate's reportedly refused all offers of a stylist or dresser, and still chooses all her clothes herself.

‘Catherine has an innate sense of style and, almost as importantly, knows what is appropriate for the occasion,' one insider told the paper.

‘She might not choose the most cutting edge designers, but she know what looks good on her and that’s what counts.

‘Plus she is acutely conscious that she is not yet a full-time working royal and feels it is pretty pointless, as well as extravagant, to have her own dresser.’
