The Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William are back to work today following their royal visit to Australia.

Kate Middleton and Prince William have arrived in Scotland for their first joint engagement since their successful visit to Australia last month.

The Duchess of Cambridge opted for a red and pink panelled coat by Scottish designer Jonathan Saunders (nicely done, K-Midd) and a Goat dress. She's also wearing a celtic design brooch which was given to her as a private wedding gift.

First stop for Kate was Strathearn Community Campus, where the Duchess chatted with children, young carers, Scouts, Cadets and Brownies. There, the royal couple will also meet members of the Scottish Air Ambulance.

On the rest of their itinerary for the day is a visit to Glenturret Distillery where they'll get to have a tipple of Famous Grouse whisky and even brew some of their own Glenturret malt.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been known as the Earl and Countess of Strathearn when in Scotland since their 2011 wedding but it is the first time they have visited the county.
