It was rumoured, that the Duchess of Cambridge was allergic to the animals but she’s finally put an end to the gossip and spoken about learning to ride.
As the royal stunned in an Alice Temperley dress at a reception for Olympic and Paralympic athletes last night (Tuesday), she spoke about her passion for the outdoor pursuit.
Para-equestrian rider, Lee Pearson, who attended the event at Buckingham Palace told the Evening Standard: ‘Kate Middleton told me she’s learning to ride so I offered to give her some lessons.

If Kate Middleton does need tips, she can always ask her cousin-in-law Zara Phillips to help out too! It’s unlikely she’d need it though, the Duchess is known for her love of sport and is already a lady of many talents.
Marie Claire exclusively revealed another of Kate’s hobbies recently. Sophie Long, one of the embroiders who worked on Kate’s Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen wedding dress told us: ‘Kate showed a real interest in embroidery, which made it extra special.’
It also emerged that Kate has green fingers and enjoys growing potatoes. She’s certainly a country girl at heart!
