This is what Kate Middleton told parents at Prince George's new school

But he's not all that excited, tbh.

Earlier this year, Prince William and Kate Middleton revealed that they will be sending Prince George to Thomas's London Day School in Battersea. The private prep has schooled some very famous faces, from Cara Delevingne to Florence Welch, and the Duke and Duchess were said to be 'delighted' when 3-year-old George was accepted.

And it seems that Kate is already making friends with the parents who already send their children to the school after bumping into them at a dinner hosted by the National Portrait Gallery this week.

The guest list included artists, trustees and donors to the London gallery, some of whom also send their children to Thomas's for an eye-watering £5,653 a term.

According to The Telegraph, Kate told fellow parents: 'I'm not sure George has any idea what's going to hit him!'

She reportedly met architect Richard Found and his wife Jane Suitor, who have a child at the prep school.

'We were chatting about Thomas's, the school George will be going to,' the couple said.

'We're parents there as well. She just said: "I may see you at the school gates."'

Considering that William and Kate are known for ripping up the royal rule book, we wouldn't be surprised if Kate did the school run herself.
