Kate Middleton uses ‘secret Mumsnet account’ for parenting advice

She really is just like us

Prince William and Kate Middleton aren’t your average royal couple. They have ripped up the royal rule book several times, recently met with parents at Prince George’s new school and have even revealed where they get parenting tips.

And now Kate has proved that whether you’re married to the future king or not, every parent can do with a bit of advice from others who have been there and done that.

According to reports, Kate has been using the famous online parenting forums like Mumsnet and BabyCentre, in order to swap stories and childcare tips with other mums anonymously.

A source told Reveal magazine: ‘[Kate] has adopted an anonymous name, and mainly posts questions about issues she and Prince William disagree on, like watching cartoons before bed.

‘Using these websites has really helped Kate, although she’d never admit to using the web for advice – the Royal Family tend to ‘just get on with it’ when it comes to raising children.

‘But, since mums on the internet generally agree with her point of view and not Will’s, she will go right on posting!’

How refreshing to know that even those in the royal household need a bit of parenting advice every now and then.
