Duchess Kate Makes Her First Public Appearance Since Announcing Her Second Pregnancy

The world is back on bump watch as Kate Middleton steps out in Alexander McQueen

The Duchess Of Cambridge has made her first public appearance since announcing her second pregnancy, joining Prince William to welcome the president of Singapore to the UK.

Kate, who has been out of action for the last few weeks with severe morning sickness, joined Prince William for a photo opportunity at the Royal Garden Hotel, before forming part of carriage procession along The Mall to Buckingham Palace.

Tony Tan Keng Yam and his wife are then due to have lunch with the Queen.

Giving Blake Lively a run for the title of best-dressed mum-to-be, Kate wore a grey Alexander McQueen coat dress and Jane Taylor hat to greet the couple, who they had met before on their Diamond Jubilee tour of south east Asia in 2012.

This evening the Duchess will also visit the Natural History Museum, to celebrate the Wildlife Photographer Of The Year Awards, 2014.

Yesterday Kensington Palace announced that Prince George’s brother or sister was due in April.

‘Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in April 2015,’ a statement read.
