Kate Middleton dons hotpants at 80s-themed roller disco

Kate Middleton dared to bare last night in sequins and hotpants at an 80s-themed charity roller disco.

Prince Wiliam's girlfriend may have raised eyebrows back at the palace in her barely-there outfit at the Day-Glo Midnight Roller Disco charity event, which she co-organised along with Richard Branson's daughter Holly Branson.

Kate still managed to look great in fluoro-yellow micro-shorts, a bright green sequin halterneck and Fame-style pink leg-warmers, while Holly went all-out in a tangerine body suit and a fuchsia pink tutu.

Hundreds of leggings-clad guests turned up to support the event, which the girls arranged to raise £100,000 for Tom's Ward at the Children's Hospital in Oxford, and the organisation the Place2Be, which provides counselling to kids.

Tom's Ward is named so in memory of Kate's friend, Thomas Waley-Cohen, who died from bone cancer in 2004 at the tender age of 20. Middleton went to school with Tom, and has quietly been supporting his family behind the scenes.

Kate showed she could skate with the best of them, but had a slight fall from grace when she went head over heels and landed flat on her back. Thanks to a chivalrous friend, however, she was back on her feet in no time.

Other guests at the party included Kate's sister, Pippa Middleton, and Princess Beatrice and her boyfriend Dave Clark.

Prince William obviously decided to sit this one out...
