Kate Middleton's baby has some seriously cool A-list connections, a new report reveals today.

The royal tot – who will be called HRH the Prince or Princess of Cambridge – is distantly related to Blue Ivy Carter and the Jolie-Pitt clan. Yes, really. To put it simply, Kate Middleton's first child will be the 23rd cousin twice-removed of Beyoncé and Jay-Z's daughter and the 27th cousin of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's six children.

It was also found that the royal heir is related to Maggie Gyllenhaal and Uma Thurman and will be the 11th cousin of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner's three children. The research was conducted by findmypast.co.uk who looked into Baby Cambridge's royal connections to the red carpet's biggest stars.

Debra Chatfield, a family historian at findmypast.co.uk, said: 'It’s long been said that the USA and UK have a special relationship, and that is certainly the case between Hollywood’s elite and the Royal Family.

'The closest relation we found to the Hollywood children was the late Princess Diana. Diana’s ancestry includes a number of early settlers on the east coast of the USA that can be traced right up to the modern day.'

Looks like the little one's in line to receive some amazing gifts!
