But what everyone really wants to know is whether the third-in-line to the throne will be a boy or a girl. Ladbrokes reveal things swing towards a female addition to the royal family with the odds the baby being a girl are at 2-5 and for a boy they’re at 2-1.

And when it comes to baby names, the favourites for a little girl include Elizabeth, Alexandra and Diana at 6-1 and for a baby boy, George and Charles are at 14-1.

With a due date of mid July we won’t have to wait long to find out!
