JK Rowling hints at an eighth Harry Potter book
JK Rowling has hinted that an eighth Harry Potter book could be in the works, but not for at least another 10 years.
Speaking to Time magazine, the best-selling author stated, 'If - and it's a big if - I ever write an eighth book, I doubt that Harry would be the central character. I feel I've already told his story.' She hastily added though, 'But these are big ifs. Let's give it 10 years.'
The seventh and final installment of the Harry Potter series was the biggest selling book of 2007, and caused hysteria from fans when it hit the shelves in July.
