The actress plays Katniss Everdeen in the trilogy, based on the Suzanne Collins books, starring alongside Josh Hutcherson, Sam Claflin and Jena Malone.

And she says getting back to work on the Hunger Games is just like entering the second year of school.

'It's great to return,' Lawrence told The Daily Telegraph in a new interview.

'It feels like being a sophomore in high school, because normally the first day at work is like the first day at school and you don't know if you are going to make friends.

'On this movie, I know that I adore everyone.'

Jennifer's quotes come as a brand new poster for the hotly-tipped movie is released, showing a flaming version of the mockingjay pin.

But don't get too excited yet - the film doesn't hit screens until the 23rd of November… next year.

Earlier this year, Jennifer Lawrence revealed she nearly passed on the Hunger Games - which has seen her fee rise from $500 for the first movie, to £10 million for the second - after becoming worried about a rise to fame.

'The truth was, in the bottom of my heart, I wanted to do it. I wanted to play this character. I was scared of the aftermath, but you can't say no to things because you're scared. You just have to go for it.'

During her final Twilight publicity tour, Kristen Stewart revealed she had struck up a friendship with the Hunger Games starlet, revealing the enormity of their respective fantasy franchise brought them together.

Twenty-two-year-old Stewart has revealed that her meeting with Lawrence, 22, was long-awaited, telling MTV news: 'She's so cool.'

'I was a lot younger than her when I first sort of entered this world of franchise land, and I don't know, I guess we sort of both went, 'Wow, this is so weird.'

'We were actually sat in a corner with Emma Watson as well, the three of us. We were like, 'Wow, this is strange. This is really cool,' Kristen added.
