Could you have been stalked by Jamie Dornan? Quite possibly, if you’re a woman living in London who used the Tube in February 2012.
The 50 Shades Of Grey star has admitted to once following a woman off of the Underground when trying to get inside the dark mindset of his The Fall character, serial killer Paul Spector.
‘I followed a woman off the train one day to see what it felt like to pursue someone like that,’ Jamie told the Los Angeles Times of his initial approach to the character.
‘It felt kind of exciting, in a really sort of dirty way. I'm sort of not proud of myself. But I do honestly think I learned something from it, because I've obviously never done any of that. It was intriguing and interesting to enter that process of 'what are you following her for?' and 'what are you trying to find out?’’
Creepy, right? So did you spot a handsome man peering suspiciously over a newspaper on the Central line back in 2012? Hopefully the woman involved wasn’t aware of Jamie’s unsubtle attempt at stalkery, as things could have actually got seriously uncomfortable.
Acknowledging that his method was pretty weird (and a criminal offence) he backtracked; ‘Can we get arrested for this? Hold on… this is a really bad reveal?’

Well, yes Jamie, it kind of is. From Christian Grey to Paul Spector, maybe the actor (who is actually really lovely in real life) will be keen not to get typecast as the guy with all the issues from now on.
