Xtra Factor presenter Caroline Flack breaks her silence on her relationship with One Direction star Harry Styles and their 15 year age gap.

Harry Style's legion of female fans (closet or otherwise) are heaving a collective wistful sigh.

It's official: Caroline Flack and One Direction singer Harry Styles (the one with the floppy hair and the mega-watt grin) are dating.

After much speculation, the 32-year-old presenter has confirmed she is dating 17-year-old One Direction's Harry Styles - and says there's nothing wrong with the 15-year age gap.

'I feel like I shouldn’t have to worry about what I do. But it’s a social thing that people aren’t accepting of big age gaps,' Caroline tells Now magazine.

Since rumours of romance between the two surfaced in October, Caroline has faced thewrath of diehard One Direction fans who took to Twitter, warning her to stay away from Harry.

Defending the relationship Caroline added: 'I keep thinking, 'What have I done wrong?' But I haven’t done anything wrong.

'What’s hard for me to get my head around is people saying it’s disgusting. I don’t think it is.'
