The director of the raunchy film reveals what it was like having that uncomfortable talk with her little ones

To say 50 Shades Of Grey isn't suitable for kids is the understatement of the century.

The highly anticipated film is filled with raunchy sex scenes and dirty fantasies - so it's certainly not one you'd take the kiddies to see.

But what do you do when you're the one directing the film - and you just happen to have four children of your own?

In a new interview with Sunday Times Magazine, director Sam Taylor Johnson reveals that all four of her kids - girls aged 2, 3, 7 and 16 - as well as her husband Aaron, were with her in Vancouver during filming. So she couldn't exactly shield them from the project.

But she did find a brilliant way to explain it.

Sam told her kids that 50 Shades is 'a love story they'll never see.' Well, at least not for many, many years...

She also said that she did not go into detail about the sexual nature of the film, which she describes as 'a dark fairy tale.' After hearing that, we're even more excited to see the naughty film.

Let the countdown to February 2015 begin.
