Zach Galifianakis has revealed another movie is already in the works

The Hangover: Part II may still be lingering at the top of box office charts around the world, but the wheels have already spun into motion to get a third film of the comedy franchise into cinemas.

And Zach Galifianakis hasn’t been shy on spilling the plot details….

'They want to do a Hangover III,' the comedy star told Rolinng Stone. 'I'm getting fricking phone calls already.'

As for the plot, Galifianakis revealed they'll be moving away from the format of the first two flicks for a story involving his character Alan's escape from a mental institution, with the helps of his fellow Wolf Pack members, of course.

It's no surprise that another movie is in the works – part two smashed box office records on its opening weekend, becoming the first ever R rated movie open to more than $100 million.

Talking at a recent press conference, director Todd Phillips told delighted journalists he’d love to make a 'finale' to the side-spitting cult movies, which would ‘cap’ the three-part series.

But he said if made, the third movie would be quite different from his first two comedy efforts: ‘The third would very much be a finale and an ending,’ the director revealed at the promotional event.

Joking about choosing locations for the final film, he said: ‘As far as where it takes place, I'm very open like the Olympic committee to being pitched and presented cities, flown around with wine and women and bribed and then I will make my decision’.
