Ms Paltrow will be stepping on to the Glee stage at McKinley High, as a substitute teacher for Mr Schu, in an exciting two-episode-long cameo.

And it seems Mr Murphy’s keen to make the most of Gwynnie’s singing and dancing talents.

‘Gwyneth is a great singer,’ he told the BBC.

‘She’s done it a little bit but and show everyone how great she is,’ he added.

The famous producer also confirmed newlywed Spaniard Javier Bardem will appear as a famous rocker, and joked that he didn’t need much persuading to take the part.
