Supermodel denies engagement rumours

Gisele has hit out at reports that she and her boyfriend, Tom Brady, got engaged earlier this month.

The stunning supermodel is fed up with the rumours that her American footballer beau has popped the question.

'I don't know how people are so creative,' she says.

'First [TMZ] said he proposed to me in a plane. Imagine, it was 24 December, Christmas, we were flying to Boston, then there was some Champagne and we celebrated the date.

'Now there's a new rumour that he proposed to me last Friday. I wasn't even there, how can that be true?'

But the 28-year-old, who previously dated Leonardo DiCaprio, did hint that wedding bells could be in their future.

'This talk of Costa Rica must be for the fact I have a house there,' she told Brazilian magazine Caras Gi during Sao Paulo fashion week.

'I don't know yet if it's going to be here or in another country, but what I know is that it's going to be something small, a simple ceremony. I don't like parties, I prefer something more intimate, just for the closest people.'
