Matt Damon admits George Clooney is nervous about parenthood

We totally get it.

We totally get it.

Earlier this year, George and Amal Clooney revealed that after 3 years of marriage they are expecting twins. Once we'd all fist pumped and counted exactly how many other celeb couples are also going to give birth this year (Beyoncé and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley for starters), then we started counting down the days to summer.

George spoke about his excitement at becoming a dad, saying: 'We are really happy and really excited. It's going to be an adventure. We've sort of embraced it all... with arms wide open.'

But George's best friend and Hollywood heavyweight, Matt Damon, has admitted that the couple are a bit nervous at the prospect of welcoming not one but two bundles of joy.

'I don't know how anybody does twins,' he told Ellen Degeneres on The Ellen Show.

'Those sleepless nights, and then there's two of them. Like, there's just no way. But we'll see what happens.'

Matt, who has four children of his own, went on to say: 'He said to me, "Well, you know, you have four." And I said, "Yeah but not at once!" Like, we did it one at a time.'

George previously spoke about being a father in his fifties, admitting he wasn't that phased. But it turns out, his Hollywood pals who already have older children have enjoyed poking fun at him.

'All of his friends, their kids are either in college or on their way,' Matt laughed. 'Now, George is getting started so it's pretty funny.'

George handled just about everything on ER for 15 years, so we're pretty sure he's gonna be absolutely fine.
