FIRST LOOK: Lindsay Lohan’s controversial Playboy cover

The troubled actress turns blonde bombshell on the magazine's February cover

It has been the subject on everyone’s lips since leaked pictures emerged earlier this week, and now wild child Lindsay Lohan’s official Playboy cover has finally been revealed.

The troubled starlet turns blonde bombshell in the raunchy Marilyn-Monroe inspired shoot, for the magazine’s February issue.

Stripping down to strike a pose on the sizzling red cover, Lindsay sports tumbling blonde locks, siren red lips, and not much else as she smoulders for the cameras, from a carefully placed Playboy chair.

Although the issue was meant to be released in January, boss Hugh Heffner yesterday confirmed they would be releasing the issue early, such was demand.

‘Because of the interest and the internet leak, we’re releasing the Lindsay Lohan issue early,’ he told fans on Twitter. ‘Lindsay Lohan was the top search name on the internet yesterday. Hot Hot Hot.’

Whisperings Li-Lo was set to pose nude for the rauncy publication first surfaced earlier this year, but were never confirmed by the starlet’s rep.

It’s understood that the actress rebuffed an initial $750,000 fee several weeks ago, with Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner later upping his offer to around the $1million mark.

‘Sex and sexuality are a part of nature, and I go along with nature. I think Marilyn Monroe once said that. I certainly agree with her,’ Lindsay revealed to the magazine.

‘Knowing yourself and your body is so important because it gives you confidence, and in life, women need confidence.

‘It’s a very male-dominated world to begin with, so knowing yourself and being comfortable with your body is an important thing for me as a woman. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but this is mine.’
