Newly-engaged Fearne Cotton tells Marie Claire her exciting plans for Rex's first Christmas, you won't want to miss them...

Fearne Cotton is set to have the best Christmas ever, as she plans for baby Rex’s first festive season and the opportunity to flash her engagement ring as much as possible.

Talking exclusively to Marie Claire, Fearne has been sharing her special plans, including Rex’s amazing Christmas outfits.

We can’t wait for THOSE Twitter pictures!

‘We have such fun getting his little outfits together,’ the Radio 1 DJ told us. ‘He just got his first pair of pyjamas, which are delicious, and his grandad’s got him some Nike Air Max – which we’re dying to put him in when they fit!’

But for Christmas Day, Fearne, who's just announced her engagement to Jesse Wood, may have to hand over control of her little one’s wardrobe: ‘His brother and sister are desperate to dress him as an elf… so that will probably come to fruition at some point I’m sure. He'll be dressed in some festive getup at some point I’m sure.’

Yep, we really can’t wait to see those snaps.

Fearne's massive grin almost knocks us from our chair when we talk more about the big day, as she tells us: ‘We’ve got the family coming to ours [on Christmas Day], which is going to be gorgeous.

‘I think now I’ve got a baby it just makes everything so much more exciting. Having kids around Christmas just brings it back to life a bit.’
