And we’ve never been happier…

After meeting at a screen test for The Amazing Spiderman in 2010, Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield became one of Hollywood’s golden couples, going public with their relationship in 2011.

After dating for four years, the actor couple separated in 2015, leaving broken-hearted ‘Stone-field’ fans across the globe, hoping for a reunion in the future.

Since their split, Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield have remained incredibly amicable, always speaking highly of each other and praising the other’s success.

Andrew chose Emma over anyone to join him on a desert island when asked in an interview after their break up, and Emma returned the compliment, explaining to Vogue in an interview last year, ‘He’s still someone I love very much. It’s been interesting. It’s been a good year. And sad. Pros and cons.’

Rumours have been building this month, two years after their split, after it was reported that the old flames had been spending time together again, with Emma flying over to the UK to visit her ex boyfriend.

‘There is definitely still love for each other there,’ a source told E! News. ‘They remain close and are on good terms.’

‘They never stopped caring about each other,’ another source told People. ‘Even when they split, Emma and Andrew had great love and respect for each other. The feeling between them is still romantic.’

While it’s looking good for a reunion, there is reportedly one aspect stopping the couple being together right now and it’s completely relatable – timing.

‘Andrew’s feeling for Emma never softened and now they are growing close once again,’ a source told The Sun. ‘There is a lot of history between them but they are both so busy. At the moment they are just seeing what happens.’

Attention to all film producers and directors – can we free up their schedules so this can happen please?
