Sorry guys, but Dev Patel has already got a girlfriend

Lion Bae is off the market :(

Lion Bae is off the market :(

This week has been pretty full-on, hasn't it? We've not stopped talking about everything that happened at the Oscars, from what really went wrong with that Oscars envelope blunder, to Andrew Garfield looking at Emma Stone in a way that makes us believe in love again.

And one celebrity that caught everyone's attention was Dev Patel. He brought the cutest date to the Oscars, and we're still flicking through the pictures of him and 7-year-old Lion co-star, Sunny Pawar, because they're just so adorable.

But it seems that everyone who has claimed Dev as their 2017 Bae is going to have to take a step back, because he's actually already got a girlfriend. Le sigh.

The 27-year-old actor, who has managed the transition from British TV drama Skins to the Hollywood silver screen almost seamlessly, is reportedly dating Australian actress, Tilda Cobham-Hervey. They are starring in the upcoming movie Hotel Mumbai, a film about the city's terrorist attacks in 2008, which is set to hit cinema screens later this year.

You may recognise Tilda from 52 Tuesdays, The Kettering Incident and Girl Asleep.

'But where's the proof of their love?' we hear you cry.

Well, not only have they been spotted cozying up together in L.A with Dev's mum in tow (cute), they were also together at the Weinstein Company's pre-Oscar party in Beverly Hills at the weekend. So there's that - plus the fact that they took a romantic trip to a doughnut shop in Mumbai called Oh Dough, which looks and sounds so heavenly that we'd probably fall in love with whoever took us there, too.

Neither party has confirmed a romantic union yet, but we're pretty sure it's happening. Sorry.
