Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz are thought to be joining forces to work on Harold Pinter’s Betrayal

Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz are notoriously private about their relationship, but the huge interest around the stars hasn’t put them off working together, and subsequently putting their on-stage chemistry up for scrutiny.

According to the Daily Mail the power couple are in talks to both appear in Harold Pinter’s play, Betrayal in New York on Broadway.

And it gets better, they’re believed to be playing a husband and wife!

If the production goes to plan, Daniel will take on the role of publisher Robert while Rachel will play his wife Emma who ends up having an affair with his friend, Jerry, a literary agent.

It’s not yet known who will portray Jerry on the stage and it’s still undecided if director Mike Nichols will sign up. Having created the now infamous film The Graduate, Mike is the hot favourite for the job.

Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig previously worked together in Dreamhouse, where they reportedly began their relationship, but starring together on stage will be a first for the couple.

If the Broadway production of Betrayal does come about lets hope life won’t intimate art for Daniel and Rachel!
