It’s clear that Star Wars: The Force Awakens co-stars Daisy Ridley and John Boyega have become the best of buds, since taking on the epic challenge of starring in the most talked about film of 2015. But did you know they were making chart-worthy music together too?

A new video has surfaced of the pair showing off their mad rap skills, with Daisy on lyrics and John dropping the beat.

If you didn’t already love these two, prepare to crush hard.

While John introduces the rap before dropping some impressive beatboxing, Daisy rhymes lines about the baking heat in the desert movie location, with quips about the strict ‘no Mars bars allowed’ diet they both used to get in fighting form.

A little snippet: “We’re all up in the desert filming Star Wars/because of our diets we can’t eat no Mars Bars.”

Joking that he’s now Daisy’s new music manager, John opens the video with: 'I've a good eye for talent. Daisy was just doing like a little rap one day and I just said "you know what? I can make you a big star." So we decided to collaborate on a song together.'

What really takes the whole thing to the next level though, is the behind-the-scenes footage of the whole cast dancing (in costume) to the track, played out as a makeshift hip hop video.

There’s even a clip of Daisy and Carrie Fisher, dressed as Rey and Princess Leia, getting down to the Ridley rap.
