Cory Monteith has been remembered by the Glee team in an emotional tribute video card, released online yesterday.

The 12 second-long clip features a montage of shots of the star, as well as scenes featuring Cory’s on-and-off-screen girlfriend Lea Michele, and several of his closest cast mates.

The touching tribute, which begins with a vintage shot of Cory Monteith filming Glee scenes, also includes a confetti-showered kiss with Lea Michele in her guise as Rachel Berry, and several seconds inside the walls of McKinley High.

Earlier this month, bosses confirmed a Cory Monteith tribute episode will go ahead, but have yet to reveal exact details of the plot.

Speaking at a recent press conference, FOX Chairman Kevin Reilly said: ‘The third episode will deal with the Finn Hudson character being written out of the show.

‘What I will tell you is that that episode will deal directly with the incidents involved in Cory’s passing and with the drug abuse in particular.’

Yesterday, Lea Michelle made her first public appearance since Cory Monteith’s tragic death at a baby shower in Beverly Hills.

The actress joined friends at Jamie-Lynn Sigler’s low-key baby bash at Hollywood’s exclusive Thompson Hotel Saturday, looking healthy and well, but kept her eyes shielded with large dark sunglasses.

This came just days after the actress returned to Twitter – and to work – telling fans she was back on set for the start of season five.

‘First day of glee today..And at my first wardrobe fitting for Rachel Berry for Season Five! I’ve missed her so much❤,’ she wrote.

We’re thinking of you, Lea.
