Cheryl Cole to reunite with Ashley?

Rumour has it the relationship is back ON, after the pair were spied celebrating at Mrs C’s 28th birthday bash

Just nine months after finalising their divorce it seems things could be back ON for Cheryl Cole and ex-hubby Ashley.

Amid a flood of rumours, and talk they could have rekindled their relationship as much as three months before Mrs C’s X Factor sacking, the sports star was spied at Cheryl’s glittering 28th birthday bash, and reportedly spent the whole weekend with the star.

‘For the first time in nine years Cheryl's looking at an empty diary,’ one insider told the Sun. ‘After the X Factor USA plans fell apart, she realised there wasn't much else in her life. She realised she had to embrace those closest to her - and Ashley remains the love of her life.’

It’s thought Ashley was smuggled in to Cheryl’s party – held at London nightspot Purple – on Friday, attended by Black Eyed Peas Will.i.Am and Fergie, where they were spied openly acting as a couple.

But it seems not everyone’s too impressed with their reunion - including Girls Aloud bandmates Kimberley and Nicola.

‘Cheryl's bloody-minded and has made her decision,’ the insider added. ‘Her pals have told her, but she's been stubborn. She just wants to be happy again.

‘They have drawn a line under everything and are starting afresh. She's already talking about kids and they want a house abroad where they can get away.’

Not only is has Cheryl reportedly reunited with her cheating ex, but it seems the pair may have hooked up for the first time as much as three months ago.

Some are even suggesting the reunion could have contributed to Mrs C’s early American X Factor exit, suggesting her mind wasn’t fully on the demanding new job.

'It was no secret that Cheryl's mind was not on The X Factor – Simon Cowell even said as much,’ another source told the Mail.

'Ash made it clear to all his friends that he wanted to win Cheryl back and they've been properly in touch for the past six months, meeting at his brother Matty's house.

'They've spent so many evenings together, it was all like a covert operation.’
