The Girls Aloud singer looked stunning in a Grecian gown as she chatted away to Prince Charles

Cheryl Cole hit all the right style notes as she mingled with Prince Charles at his Prince's Trust Invest In Futures dinner in London last night.

The singer looked stunning in a draped, white, Grecian dress as she chatted happily to the Prince and posed for photos ahead of the gala dinner at the Savoy Hotel.

A gently side-swept updo, dark smokey eyes and some seriously blinging diamond earrings completed Cole's royal look.

The 28-year-old was joined by other starry guests, including Jools Holland, Lulu, Michael McIntyre and Alison Moyet, at the event which aimed to raise money for The Prince's Trust.

Cole, who last year set up The Cheryl Cole Foundation to help disadvantaged young people in the North East, took to the stage at the event to announce one of the auction lots - an afternoon tea for four people with Ms Cole at a top London hotel.

About the prize, she said: 'This afternoon tea is a fun way to raise money for a charity close to my heart. I am a huge fan of the work of the Prince's Trust. My Foundation is supporting the work of the Prince's Trust in the North East, helping young people from my part of the world to get their lives on track. It's a really difficult time for young people at the moment.'

Earlier in the day, the Girls Aloud star used to Twitter to slam once and for all the rumours she's returning to the X Factor. She wrote: 'X factor was a great experience and time in my life and career but is now part of my past .. Please #letsmoveonnow #newnewspls Zzzzz *yawns*.'
