Stores see rush to copy Cheryl Cole's X-Factor style

It seems style icon Cheryl Cole has started another hot trend. After last week's performance of her new No.1 single, Fight For This Love, sales of military jackets have gone through the roof.

The singer and X-Factor judge wore slashed harem pants, a sheer bodystocking and a red military jacket with gold brading on the show last week and it's the jacket that everyone now wants to get their hands on.

F&F range at Tesco has seen sales of their of their military jacket, that's very similar to the one Cheryl wore, rise by 150%, as fans clear the rails desperate to get Cheryl's look.

Cheryl has already confessed that she wants to design a fashion range and it's clear she has her finger on the fashion pulse. If this is the reaction after starting just one trend, imagine what her new clothing range is going to be like - we can't wait!
