Charlotte Church says pregnancy gave her painful, achy hips

Charlotte Church has admitted that after two pregnancies, her body has taken a hammering.

The singer and TV presenter also revealed that she plans to keep expanding her two-strong brood, hoping to have more children in the future.

The 23-year-old appears on the cover of Hello! magazine this week, with her rugby man Gavin Henson and their two children, Ruby, 23 months and seven-month-old Dexter, celebrating the christening of their youngest offspring.

Dressed all in white and beaming for the camera, the family of four look picture perfect, but Church has revealed it hasn’t all been a bed of roses, admitting her pregnancies really took a toll on her body. ‘I suffer badly with aching hips when I’m pregnant and last time, with Dexter, it was so painful,’ admits Charlotte.

The singer had reportedly lost a stone in eight weeks for the family’s celebrations, but insisted she didn’t feel the pressure to get back into shape straight away.

'I couldn't care. When I get to the stage where I personally think, “Crikey, I've got to do something about this", I'll eat less or eat healthier but I won't be spurred on by what's written in the media.'

Injured Welsh rugby star, Henson, spoke of the couple's wish to have a big family – but all in good time: ‘We definitely want more kids, though, but we think we’ll wait a few years now till Ruby goes to school.’

So in the meantime can we expect a Welsh white wedding? ‘Hopefully we’ll get married at some point,’ says Henson, ‘but it’s not a priority or something we’re planning at the moment.’
