The superstar couple hosted a glitzy party in New York
After a worrying couple of years, Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones are well and truly back to their best as they hit the town in New York.
The glamorous husband and wife attended the 80th birthday party of film producer Marty Richards at the Rubin Museum of Art.
Catherine and Michael were apparently honourary chairs at the event, of which the proceeds will go to the Mary Lea Johnson Richards Research Institute.
It’s fantastic to see the couple back on top form after a tumultuous couple of years.
In August 2010, Douglas revealed that he was suffering from an advanced stage of throat cancer, but after months of gruelling treatment the actor announced he had been given the all-clear last January.
Then in April 2011, Catherine revealed that she had checked into rehab to deal with her bipolar disorder, which had been aggravated by the stress of her husband’s illness.
We hope 2012 proves to be a great year for these two!
