Cara Delevingne has posted what can only be described as an Instagram-slam of gorgeous holiday photos in the last week or so. But now the 21-year-old supermodel has revealed that she has actually been doing some work (in between all those traffic-stopping topless selfies, of course.)

The ultimate IT Brit-girl has been shooting an ad campaign for sustainable jewellery brand John Hardy – whose handmade collections are inspired by the traditional techniques of artisans on the Indonesian islands.

“Meeting all the actual people who make the jewelry and seeing how happy they are…I want to live there,” Cara told WWD. “I was like, ‘Can you hire me, please?’ I did jewelry-making in school, but I was very bad. [Here], you can feel the love in [the jewelry] and you feel like someone has actually put their heart into it.”

“I would be posting something every second if I could,” she said of her Balinese Insta-binge. “The amount of pictures I have on my phone from this trip is incredible. It was breathtaking. I don’t want to leave.”

The final campaign images are expected to land in October and John Hardy’s creative director, David Lipman, was quick to enthuse that the trip has been a success. “Everyone who went on this journey went on a journey of a lifetime,” he said.

We predict major Bali blues for Cara on the flight home to London then.
