Turning into quite the ink convert, 20-year-old Cara has had her initials 'CJD’ etched onto the side of her right hand.

Cara, whose middle name is Jocelyn, had the script inked into her skin by her BFF's Rihanna and Rita Ora's favourite tattooist Bang Bang, in New York yesterday.

Before she left Cara turned artist when she etched her initials inside a heart on Bang Bang's leg.

Celebrity inker Bang Bang had previously spilled the beans on the model’s first time under the needle and said the 20-year-old already has the itch for more.

‘It was her first tattoo, but you know, she was not nervous! Not one bit. She was perfect!’ he said.

‘It’s not an easy one but she took it like a G! Cara was good in the chair, real good. First tattoo… she was an absolute pro. There was no diva supermodel behaviour, not at all, she’s the coolest most down to earth girl.’

Bang Bang also said he can see why the famous trio ghave such a tight friendship, saying: ‘I see why they all get along. All three of those girls are cool as s***.

‘You know, it can be really easy for people to lose track of themselves and become a f*** head. But these girls are cool and it’s fun to watch. Ri always tells me, ‘don’t get rich and switch!’ he told Heat magazine.
