And the whole family are posting emotional tributes...

Brooklyn Beckham was one of many students to bag top A-level results this summer, going on to get a place at NYC university to study photography.

Judging by his Instagram, he's sure to be a natural fit in the city - we're banking on him falling in with New York's edgy photography/ skateboarding scene.

Leaving for the big apple just this week, the whole Beckham family have been sending him emotional tributes on social media.

'We are all so proud of you Brooklyn,' posted Victoria alongside a photo of the two of them, proving that she is just like every mum who has a child flying the nest. 'Amazing A level results and now off to college. We love you so much and will miss you #yesiamcrying #emotional'.

David also took to his Instagram to express his pride, sharing photos of the two of them in New York, where David accompanied his son to get him settled.

'Exciting times and hard work coming for this little man,' he posted to his 39.7 million followers. 'Proud of you Bust.'

Even Brooklyn's 14-year-old brother Romeo followed suit, posting, 'Brooklyn I am going to miss you sooo much. I am so proud of you and can't believe you've come this far! Good look in New York and well done in your A Levels xx.'

There's no word yet from Cruz or Harper but we're sure they're going to miss him just as much as the rest of the Beckham clan.
