Britney Spears may agree to joint interview with Kevin Federline

BRITNEY SPEARS IS contemplating joining her ex-husband Kevin Federline for a joint interview.

The explosive interview is set to be carried out by Martin Bashir – notorious for his extraordinary interview with Michael Jackson and previously with Princess Diana.

Britney is reportedly keen to put her side of the story across in her recent failed battle for custody of the pair's two children.

An insider who spoke to People magazine said: 'As far as Martin is concerned it would be all of his Christmases come at once if he could secure a deal with both of them.'

'He is really keen to do an interview that would blow the lid off their private lives. It would guarantee millions of viewers worldwide. In an ideal world he would love to get them both in the same room.'

Reports reveal that the ex-rapper is eager to do the interview but Britney is less so.

Meanwhile Britney has been reunited with her estranged mother, Lynne Spears who flew into Los Angeles with her younger daughter Jamie Lynn on Friday evening.

Britney fell out with her mother in June this year when the troubled star asked Lynne to stay away from her two sons if she was taking medication that might cause impairment.
