Ant and Dec meet the Princes in a new documentary tonight...

Tonight’s telly must-watch? Ant and Dec meet Princes Charles, William and Harry, in what is set to be one of the most revealing programmes about the Royal Family in years.

The comedy duo gained unprecedented access for the ITV documentary, following the princes in their day-to-day lives as well as conducting a series of sit-down interviews with each family member.

And perhaps the most revealing of those interviews is with Prince William, who opened up about how he has changed since becoming a father to two year-old Prince George and 8 month-old Princess Charlotte.

‘I'm a lot more emotional than I used to be, weirdly,’ he explained.

‘I never used to get too wound up or worried about things. But now the smallest little things, you well up a little more, you get affected by the sort of things that happen around the world or whatever a lot more, I think, as a father.’

‘Just because you realise how precious life is and it puts it all in perspective. The idea of not being around to see your children grow up and stuff like that.’

Celebrating 40 years of his Prince’s Trust, Prince Charles also revealed that he would love for his sons to eventually take the reigns of the charity, which has helped over 825,000 young people in the UK.

‘I hope one of them might take an interest in it because I am probably getting past my sell-by date now,’ he joked.

When Ant And Dec Met The Prince: 40 Years Of The Prince's Trust, is on ITV tonight at 9pm.
