…And she did so in a such a nice way!

Remember last year, when Sony's system was hacked and a slew of emails entered the public domain?

Well, among those to be caught in the fracas was Angelina Jolie, who, in an email exchange between chairwoman Amy Pascal and producer Scott Rudin, was branded a 'a minimally talented spoiled brat'.

Whilst Angelina never addressed the scandal, at the time, her husband Brad Pitt blamed it on the hackers rather than the authors of the emails, saying: 'I think someone’s conversation, whether in email or in person, should be private. We shouldn’t be participating and these sites that are disseminating them should stop. They won’t. And we should stop reading them. We won’t. It’s more of an indictment on us, I think.’

Now, for the first time since the leak – which, in another exchange, famously revealed Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Adams earned less for their Oscar-nominated performances in American Hustle - Angelina has spoken out about the controversy.

She told the New York Times: 'I didn’t read any of them. Someone told me. There are certain things that bother me and certain things that don’t. Personal attacks on me? I think I’m just so used to it. Honestly, my first instinct was that I was worried about Amy.

'I had someone call her and ask if she was O.K. Not because I’m a saint, but because I think we have to look at the bigger picture. She’s got kids. I knew it was going to unravel for her.’
