Slumdog stars treated to five-star luxury by Gerard Butler
Gerard Butler showed his softer side yesterday by treating the child stars of hit movie Slumdog Millionaire to a fun-filled day at a luxury five-star hotel.
The RocknRolla actor organised for Rubina Ali Qureshi (the young Latika) and Azhar Mohammed Ismail (the young Salim) to live it up at the topnotch hotel, indulging the pair with a slap-up lunch.
The 39-year-old Scot is touring India with a group of friends and chose to take time out of his trip to meet up with the young duo, who he was first introduced to at the Oscars in February.
Butler clearly had a soft spot for the pair at the awards do and didn’t hesitate in calling Rubina and Ashar up when he arrived in Mumbai.
The star was spotted larking about with the youngsters at an undisclosed hotel, where he dined with a host of friends, including stunning Bollywood actress Prinyanka Chopra. The Indian beauty is reportedly spending time with Butler during his stay and the well-known lothario certainly looked pleased as punch at having the local show him the sites...
